Title : Production Supervisor

Location : Salem, OR.

Reports To : Director of Operations

Workplace Type : Onsite

Ingredion is hiring a Production Supervisor Responsible for directing the manufacturing operations performed in a shift or group of production lines, ensuring they reach volume, quality, and cost goals.

What you will do :

Oversee the processing of product through the entire process in accordance with internal and customer specifications while maintaining safety, throughput, yields and proper staffing.

​Supervise activities to ensure both employee and product safety and quality standards are met.

Confirm regular and temporary employees are properly onboarded and trained before operating equipment.

Correctly complete and turn in daily paperwork including the daily production reports.

Address employee relations problems promptly including proper documentation.

Demonstrate and lead by example, utilizing the Company’s Core Values.

Complete thorough employee reviews in a timely manner.

Demonstrate appropriate work behavior, communication, and integrity in all aspects.

Ensure all company information is effectively communicated to team members.

Manage production employees time records and approve on time.

Ability to interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Write routine reports and correspondence.

Who you are :

An associate's degree and / or 5 years of related experience and training.

Knowledge of the equipment used in the plant : Lift truck, juice filters, blend systems, pasteurizer and filing station, aseptic system, various blenders and mixing kettles.

Basic math skills including common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.

Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Pay Range :

$67,520.00-$90,026.67 Annual

This pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).

Incentive Compensation :

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission / bonus.
