Illinois Licensed Pharmacy Technician

A company is looking for a Pharmacy Billing Specialist (Part Time).

Key Responsibilities

Process and follow-up on billing for resident prescriptions, including understanding various insurance types

Adjudicate insurance claims, troubleshoot rejected claims, and complete prior authorization forms

Perform data entry and generate monthly statements while ensuring compliance and following core processes

Required Qualifications

Minimum of one year of pharmacy billing experience

At least 2 years of pharmacy technician experience

High School Diploma or equivalent

Licensed and in good standing as an Illinois Pharmacy Technician

National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA)
