SH-766 Registered Nurse (RN) - Behavioral Health, Alexandria, MN

Position Overview :

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our interdisciplinary treatment team at the Community Behavioral Health Hospital in Alexandria. In this role, you will deliver compassionate, person-centered nursing care in a behavioral health setting, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for patients. Your work will be essential in helping individuals achieve their treatment goals through collaborative, trauma-informed practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Work cooperatively as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team, utilizing person-centered thinking, positive behavior supports, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care to prevent and respond to patient situations.
• Comply with all safety and health standards, laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and protocols to maintain a safe, clean, and humane environment for patients and staff.
• Provide person-centered, trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, professional nursing care to meet the physical and emotional needs of each patient.
• Implement individual treatment plans and document the results of interventions to assist patients in accomplishing their personal goals.
• Facilitate and document all aspects of patient care from admission through discharge.
• Oversee and adhere to medication administration policies and processes to ensure safe delivery of medications in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
