The Revenue Cycle team safeguards the financial integrity of Lakewood Health System by analyzing and improving processes that support accurate and timely reimbursement. This department partners closely with clinical, financial, and operational leaders to ensure data-driven decision-making, compliance, and workflow efficiency across the full continuum of care.

Position Summary
The Revenue Cycle Analyst supports Lakewood Health System's financial health by analyzing and improving revenue cycle performance through data-driven insights. This position monitors key financial metrics, identifies opportunities for process improvement, and collaborates with teams across finance, billing, coding, and operations to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and reimbursement outcomes. The analyst translates complex data into actionable recommendations that strengthen revenue integrity and support informed decision-making aligned with Lakewood's mission of delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Position Type
This is a full-time exempt position working 80 hours per pay period (1.0FTE).
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, visualization); familiarity with CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS coding, and reimbursement models. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; understanding of healthcare revenue cycle concepts and workflows. 2-4 years' experience in healthcare revenue cycle analysis, billing operations, or financial performance improvement. Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR), Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist (CRCS), or coding credentials (CPC, CCS). Experience with EHR and billing systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, or similar). Exposure to rural healthcare settings (CAH / RHC).
