School Behavior Specialist in Plano, TX

A full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) position is available within a K-12 public school district in Texas. This role is a contract assignment lasting through the school year. The BCBA will be responsible for supporting both general education and special education students across multiple schools within the district.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide behavior analysis services to students exhibiting behavioral challenges, with a focus on addressing significant disproportionality issues.
• Collaborate with educators and staff to develop and implement behavior intervention plans tailored to individual student needs.
• Deliver training sessions and professional development for school personnel to promote effective behavioral support strategies.
• Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and monitor their work to ensure fidelity and success of interventions.
• Collect and analyze data to track progress and adjust interventions accordingly.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active BCBA license required.
• Experience working with K-12 student populations in both general and special education settings preferred.
• Strong skills in behavior assessment, intervention planning, and staff training.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and families.
• Flexibility to work across multiple school sites.

Location and Schedule:

• Position is located on-site in Texas.
• Full-time commitment of 37.5 hours per week.
• Assignment duration: immediate start through the end of May in the following year.
