A full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) position is available within a K-12 public school district in Texas. This role is a contract assignment lasting through the school year. The BCBA will be responsible for supporting both general education and special education students across multiple schools within the district.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide behavior analysis services to students exhibiting behavioral challenges, with a focus on addressing significant disproportionality issues.
- Collaborate with educators and staff to develop and implement behavior intervention plans tailored to individual student needs.
- Deliver training sessions and professional development for school personnel to promote effective behavioral support strategies.
- Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and monitor their work to ensure fidelity and success of interventions.
- Collect and analyze data to track progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active BCBA license required.
- Experience working with K-12 student populations in both general and special education settings preferred.
- Strong skills in behavior assessment, intervention planning, and staff training.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and families.
- Flexibility to work across multiple school sites.
Location and Schedule:
- Position is located on-site in Texas.
- Full-time commitment of 37.5 hours per week.
- Assignment duration: immediate start through the end of May in the following year.
