Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 school in Gonzales, LA is seeking a licensed school psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services for the 2025-2026 academic year. This full contract position begins on August 11, 2025, and concludes on May 29, 2026. The role is on-site only and offers the opportunity to work within a responsive and decisive school district that may extend a job offer during the interview process.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments for students across K-12 grade levels
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student learning and well-being
  • Develop and implement intervention plans to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide expert recommendations
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with district guidelines
  • Promote a positive school environment through consultation and crisis intervention services

Qualifications :

  • Valid Educator Certification specializing in School Psychology
  • Experience working with diverse student populations in a K-12 setting preferred
  • Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to manage caseload efficiently and maintain detailed documentation
