The team seeks positive, innovative, accountable leaders with a business and customer-focused mindset. We are seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to support a Department of Defense program.
Under direction from the Director of Quality, this candidate will serve as a liaison between the various program functions and the Supplier Quality Assurance group coordinating with the program team and suppliers to meet program needs. Candidate will assist various management, staff, customers, suppliers and partners with initiatives to re-engineer processes and methods to ensure compliance to customer contractual requirements and promote continuous improvement initiatives in the areas of cost, efficiency, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction. This candidate will utilize Quality Engineering methods to optimize quality requirements on both purchase documents and work instructions to create and flow down inspection requirements, drive corrective actions and ensure continuous improvement with the overall goal of ensuring supplier and internal manufacturing compliance with contractual requirements, and identifying and controlling sources of variation which may be detrimental to program quality, cost, and schedule targets.
