divh2Job Title / h2pCarolina Casualty is looking for an experienced financial professional who will provide leadership and coordination of segments financial reporting, planning, analysis and management reporting. This position will assist Segment management with special projects, profitability analysis, business expansion support, etc. / ppKey Functions will include but not be limited to : / pulliDirect and coordinate Segments GAAP and Management reporting / liliAnalyze operating results on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis / liliDevelop forecasting models to assist Senior Manager with business decision support / liliEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements / liliDirect financial and SOX audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements / liliWork with department managers to develop the annual budget and plan / liliMonitor expenses and suggest productivity improvements and / or expense saving initiatives / liliManages billing and cash receipts processes / liliAdminister collateral program by performing credit risk evaluations / liliSupervise professional team of accountants who perform transactional accounting / li / ulpThe company is an equal employment opportunity employer. / ph2Qualifications / h2ulliBachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance / liliCPA Preferred / lili10+ years of progressive financial experience in the property casualty insurance industry, with at least 5 years of management experience / li / ulh2Additional Company Details / h2pWe do not accept any unsolicited resumes from external recruiting agencies or firms.
