Job Type : Contract (12 months + potential to extend)

Schedule : Part-Time (20-30 hours per week)

Compensation : $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

About the Role

We are seeking a Production Material Specialist to support a leading manufacturer in the powersports and consumer goods industry. This role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals with strong organizational and communication skills who thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in managing raw material tracking, reporting, and communication between cross-functional teams, ensuring material flow aligns with production needs.

Job Description

As a Production Material Specialist, you will :

• Track raw material purchase order delivery status and update weekly WIP reports.
• Identify at-risk materials and coordinate solutions with factories, mills, Production, and Design teams.
• Manage minimum order quantity (MOQ) and surcharge scenarios; maintain excess material lists.
• Monitor and maintain material KPIs, including On-Time Delivery %, On-Time Tracker %, Avg Days Late, and Surcharges Paid.
• Support Accounting with material debits / credits and surcharge entries in NetSuite.
• Assist Design & Development with greige bookings, seasonal material needs, and color developments.
• Communicate shortages, substitutions, and timing changes with global factories.
• Support Compliance on PFAS tracking and label / regulation updates.
