The Patient Care Technician (PCT / CNA) performs a variety of patient care activities at Gaylord hospital. Working under the direction the RN, the PCT’s have valuable exposure to a wide variety of patient populations and skills while working in a warm and friendly atmosphere with supportive, interdisciplinary teams. With an average patient length of stay 25 -30 days, the PCT is able to develop strong relationships and play a key role in the recovery of our patients.

Qualifications :

• H.S. Diploma or GED required
• CNA, CPCT, CEMT, CMA or RMA required or equivalent Training Program
• Patient care experience preferred
• American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) CPR Certification required prior to hire

WORK SCHEDULE : Night Shift (11 : 15 pm- 7 : 15 am), 24 hours a week, every other weekend / holiday rotation
