Commercial HVAC Foreman

Job Title

We are a full-service HVAC, building automation, chiller, and retrofit contractor with a reputation for combining high-quality consulting services with customized energy solutions. Our integrated, single-source solutions include turnkey in-house capabilities with design assistance, as well as engineering applications and automated control systems.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Provide technical assistance and on-site training for team members.

Assist Field Supervisor in evaluating skills and create development plans for each technician.

Will have superior customer relations skills.

Will have one of the cleanest vehicle and proper uniform.

MSCA Star Certified. Take and complete the Star Certification Test.

Assist and train the technicians in their communication with the customer.

Provide for response to after hours and emergency service calls when the primary technician is unavailable.

Should be proactive when possible "warranty" or "credits" could arise.

Ensure compliance of team members to all safety policies and procedures.

Ensure all their quoted work is performed at or under allotted time.

Consistently attend or teach union training courses for continued education.

Should be the technical "go to" for the Team Dispatcher in the Field Supervisors absence.

Assist sales and quote department with technical information required.

Qualifications

Extensive HVAC field knowledge with minimum 10 years' service field experience.

Extensive Safety knowledge and training with minimum 10 years field experience.

Effective oral and written communication skills.

Strong computer skills a plus.

Ability to organize and plan daily responsibilities effectively.

Geographic Disclosure

Compensation Range : $60 Per Hour The hourly rate is determined by the CBA / rate sheet and test results.

Benefits are provided through local labor union aligned with collective bargaining agreement.
