IT Systems Administrator

Dynamic Sealing Technologies (DSTI) of Andover, MN is seeking a hands-on IT Systems Administrator to join our small but diverse technology team. In this role, you'll manage the full spectrum of our IT systems- from troubleshooting user issues to maintaining virtual servers, networks and firewalls. This position is ideal for an experienced IT professional who thrives on variety, independence, and seeing projects through from start to finish.

What You'll Do :

• Manage and maintain DSTI's core network and systems across multiple locations, ensuring stability, reliability and security.
• Triage and resolve incoming IT support requests, providing responsive assistance to users via phone, email or in person.
• Plan and execute IT projects including system upgrades, network enhancements, and server migrations.
• Configure, monitor, and maintain virtual environments, servers, firewalls, and related infrastructure systems.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and IT asset inventory.
• Administer system backups, replication, and disaster recovery processes.
• Support and enforce cybersecurity and compliance standards (e.g., NIST 800-171, CMMC, ISO 9001)
• Document IT processes and create user guides to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Collaborate with the Information Systems Manager to plan long-term infrastructure improvements.
• Stay informed on emerging technologies and recommend practical solutions to improve reliability or performance.
• Provide after hours support as needed for critical issues or maintenance windows.

Flexible Work Schedule

The typical schedule would be Monday - Friday from 8 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm with some flexibility. Due to the high level of collaboration within our teams as well as the hands-on support nature of this role, we prefer you to be physically present in our Andover, MN location.
