Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Preschool Teacher to join our team! You will be leading a class of students through the school year, assessing their current academic level, and designing instruction to meet students collective and individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
• Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities
• Support childrens social, emotional, language, and cognitive development
• Observe and document childrens progress
• Maintain positive communication with families
• Work collaboratively with teachers and staff
• Follow state licensing and health & safety requirements
• Must be able to use CTELDs guide to plan weekly lesson plans
• Must be able to use CTDOTs to do assessment

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education.
• Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
• Problem-solving and mediation skills
