Nights with 8 and 12-hour shifts. Expect to work every third weekend and engage in holiday rotation.

Unit Overview :
Join our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit , where you will care for diverse and complex patient populations, including :
Post-operative care for craniotomies and spinal surgeries.Management of stroke patients within our Comprehensive Stroke Program.High volume of cervical and spinal surgeries.As a part of the Aurora Neuroscience Innovation Institute (ANII) , you'll be exposed to the latest techniques in neurosurgical care.

Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based patient care using the nursing process.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure compassionate and safe care.Utilize clinical judgment and critical thinking to support optimal patient outcomes.Enhance positive patient experiences throughout their care continuum.Why Join Us?

Assess patient needs and create individualized care plans.Monitor patient conditions and adapt care as necessary.Implement safety strategies to minimize risks to patients.Coordinate discharge planning using an interdisciplinary approach.Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.Foster collaborative communication among the healthcare team.Actively engage in professional development and mentorship opportunities.Licensure, Registration, and / or Certification Required :
Registered Nurse license from the state of practice.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.Education Required :
Completion of an accredited nursing program.Experience Required :
Minimum of 1 year clinical nursing experience.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Ability to provide holistic patient care and adapt to changing situations.Proficient in electronic medical records and communication tools.Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.Ability to effectively make independent decisions.Demonstrated teamwork and leadership capabilities.Physical Requirements and Working Conditions :
