Mail Services Clerk

Sorts and delivers incoming mail and parcels, prepares and posts outgoing mail ensuring compliance with all postal and export regulations. Interfaces with all internal and external customers and vendors to ensure satisfaction, reliability, and compliance with all government and company regulations and policies.

Core Duties Include

• Sorts and delivers incoming mail and parcels.
• Prepares and posts outgoing mail ensuring compliance with all postal and export regulations.
• Interfaces with all internal and external customers and vendors to ensure satisfaction, reliability, and compliance with all government and company regulations and policies.
• As designated, may assist in collecting payroll and personnel information for the Supervisor, Program Manager, District Office, and Timekeeping department.
• Reinforces training objectives to Mail Services Clerk and other company personnel.
• In conjunction with company management or designated representatives, ensure adequate coverage of all posts and positions. Maintain an open line of communication with the Supervisor to advise and inform.
• Operates office equipment to solve customer problems and complaints.
• Observe and report incidents or suspicious activity to client representatives, company management, life / safety personnel, or public safety authorities as appropriate for the circumstances and / or as required by the site.
• Learn and perform multiple mail runs and other mail services-related duties.
