Foreman

The Foreman is responsible for all daily site activities such as job site safety, crew coordination, schedule, cost savings, and quality of work performed on projects, depending on scope and scale of work in progress. Works closely with management staff regarding all aspects of the project. They also communicate regularly with the Project Management in El Paso, requesting support and taking direction as necessary to ensure successful project delivery. Must be able to maintain relationships with Office Staff, Clients, Engineers, Consultants and Subcontractors.  Foreman should keep project progress and production ahead of schedule, coordinating deliveries, equipment, crew, and materials continuously to facilitate the best possible outcome.

Foreman :

• Advanced knowledge of all construction trade disciplines.
• Manage daily field activities to ensure construction of individual house’s milestones are met.
• Ability to interpret plans and specifications.
• Ensure worksites are kept clean.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by communicating effectively.
• Meet short-interval weekly schedule goals.
• Proactively identify issues in advance to facilitate solutions.
• Verify that all work is installed at a Pointe Homes quality acceptable manner.
• Coordinate with Purchasing Staff to ensure orders are placed on time.
• Coordinate with Accounting Staff to ensure proper costs are allocated to project.
• Maintain daily paperwork and field reports.
• Work closely with Production Manager to inform on the progress of the project.
• Coordinate with Warranty Specialist in scheduling any warranty issues and ensure they are done in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with Customer Service Manager any upgrades needed or walk-through issues are resolved.
• Coordinate with Detail Specialist on the work needed to continue the timely progress of houses.
• Approve subcontractor invoices on a weekly basis.
