Summary of the role :
We are seeking a Project Based Installer to join our NorCal team helping to bring solar energy to underserved communities across the country. The Solar Installer will be responsible for assisting with the installation of photovoltaic (PV) and battery (BESS) systems on residential and commercial properties working alongside tribal workforce trainees volunteers and Grid Alternatives staff.

Compensation :
The compensation range for this fulltime position is$24-$28 per hour. The base pay that will actually be offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge skills location experience and take into account internal equity.

Where you will sit & the places you may go
The ideal candidate will sit in Oakland / Bay Area. This position may require up to 25% out-of-town travel to regional offices and special projects such as org-wide celebrations team building exercises etc. Availability to work nights and weekends may very rarely be required. GRID Alternatives may provide vehicles for work travel and / or travel reimbursement for personal vehicle this instanceapplicants must hold a valid drivers license and have a good driving record.
