Our client, a leading organization in the federal IT sector, is seeking a SQL Server DBA to join their dedicated team. As a SQL Server DBA, you will be an integral part of the support staff, ensuring the stability, performance, and security of critical database systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and excellent communication abilities, which will enable you to thrive in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Location : Colorado Springs, Colorado

Pay Range : Market

What's the Job?

  • Developing and optimizing SQL reporting queries to support organizational needs
  • Troubleshooting and resolving database issues promptly and effectively
  • Performing database performance tuning to ensure optimal operation
  • Reviewing and implementing database design changes to improve efficiency
  • Coding procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and other database objects

What's Needed?

  • Minimum of 3+ years experience in SQL Server Database Administration (DBA)
  • Proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL) with strong query tuning skills
  • Experience in IT delivery and operations, with a focus on large-scale federal programs
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends if necessary
  • Educational background with a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
