CK Transportation is seeking professional CDL A truck drivers to run interstate routes while enjoying predictable home time and reliable weekly pay. This position is suited for drivers interested in a balance of road miles, well-maintained equipment, and consistent support from a committed operations team.

Drivers start between $1,300 and $1,450 per week, depending on experience and performance. Weekly pay is supported by steady miles and detention compensation for qualifying delays. CK Transportation offers medical, dental, and vision coverage, along with paid vacation and 401(k) eligibility after six months. Drivers may take advantage of rider and pet options, as well as the flexibility to bring trucks home for resets when appropriate.

Truck drivers follow a 12-day work schedule with guaranteed 48 hours of home time every other weekend. Typical freight is no-touch with an average haul of 700-750 miles per run. This home-time model supports drivers seeking stable time off while maintaining dependable over-the-road earnings.

Drivers operate 2021 or newer Freightliner and Kenworth tractors with automatic transmissions. Units are equipped with APUs, inverters, and refrigerators to support comfort on longer routes. CK Transportation oversees routine maintenance and timely repairs to minimize downtime and help drivers stay on schedule.

Minimum qualifications include a valid CDL A, at least three months of recent tractor-trailer experience, an acceptable motor vehicle record, the ability to run interstate routes, and a strong commitment to safety.

New hires complete a structured orientation with paid travel, meals, and a private room. This preparation provides clarity on processes, expectations, and available resources. CK Transportation maintains a responsive dispatch and support structure to help drivers stay productive while on the road.

Drivers may choose to take their truck home during scheduled resets or park at a designated terminal when preferred. This flexibility helps create a balanced approach to time off and equipment storage.
