Systems Technician

The Systems Technician works on a team to deploy new workstations, provide on-site support for clients, troubleshoot initial issues, and deliver top-quality service both in the office and at client sites. As a member of the team, you’ll be immersed in a culture of mutual support, collaborative problem solving, learning/development, and comic relief.

This is a growth-oriented role. As a qualified applicant, you will bring solid Windows and desktop experience (and ideally, education). Once in this role, certifications are paid-for, continuous training is provided, significant experience is gained, and a growth track is outlined.

What you will be doing

• Installing new Windows computers at client sites
• Transferring data, setting up applications, and making it a seamless transition for the client, with as close to 100% accuracy as possible
• Answering client questions, assisting them with their technology.
• Resolving issues quickly and efficiently, and helping our clients get back to their work, with technology that works effectively. Dealing with Level 1 issues and troubleshooting, supported by the team
• Working in an advanced ticketing system and RMM (ConnectWise).

Technical Qualifications and Skills

• Significant experience troubleshooting or working with Windows computers.
• Understanding of basic network protocols. Experience supporting a network a plus.
• Formal education preferred – associates, bachelors, and/or industry certifications.

Location

Due to the nature of the Systems Technician position, our technicians are generally required to be on location at our Manchester office when not onsite at clients. Travel is a requirement for this position and mileage for visits to client sites is reimbursable. Applicants must live within driving distance to support clients, onboarding, and ongoing team integration.
