Birch Agency, a nationally recognized company in educational services, is looking for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologists to join our team in Alameda, CA ! Job Details :

Part-time (3 days per week - flexible on what days)

8 hour days

Elementary age group

Caseload : approximately 50

2 sites

Alameda, CA

Start : ASAP

Pay dependent on experience - starting at $75 / hr

Qualifications :

Master's degree in Speech and Communication from an accredited institution

Valid CA state license for Speech Language Pathology

Demonstrated experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting, with a strong emphasis on supporting those with special needs

Responsibilities :

As a Speech Language Pathologist with Birch Agency, you will :

Evaluate students referred with speech / language disorders to determine degree and severity

Provide Speech Therapy to students with a wide variety of disabilities

Complete appropriate paperwork following state guidelines

Attend IEP Meetings

Confer with parents and develop home programs when necessary

Consult with Teachers

Work as a part of Special Ed team

Provide thorough and accurate documentation in a timely fashion
