Lateral Link is working with a remote boutique firm that specializes in Intellectual Property Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions and Technology Transactions for IP-centric companies and institutions worldwide. The firm is geographically diverse, with personnel and practices that are highly integrated and operate as cohesive, cooperative teams.

Role

Patent Prosecution Counsel or Partner with expertise in preparing and prosecuting applications in artificial intelligence, machine learning, software, computer hardware or computer architecture. Ideal candidates have a background in electrical engineering, computer science, artificial intelligence or a data science educational background. No portables are required.

Model and expectations

The firm offers a flexible remote model and has attorneys around the globe. There is no billable requirement, but a reasonable target. No portables are required for this position, but a hunger and entrepreneurial drive are needed. The firm promotes work / life balance and frequently attracts attorneys from larger firms due to their sophisticated and challenging work and flexible model.
