• Optical Manufacturing Operations Manager Location : 930 Marina Way South, Richmond, CA 94804 💼 Employment Type : Full-Time 💰 Competitive salary+ up to 15% annual bonus + full benefits 🕒 Schedule : 24-hour operation (5 days / week) ✈️ Travel : Up to 25% Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a 110+ employee optical manufacturing team Drive productivity, quality, turnaround time (TAT), and first-pass yield Ensure compliance with OSHA, FDA, ANSI, ISO, HIPAA, and safety regulations Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and cost control Manage inventory, equipment maintenance, and asset planning Develop and implement safety programs and inspection processes Improve operational efficiency through data analysis and process improvements Investigate and resolve production or member service issues Lead training programs and staff development initiatives Foster a collaborative, high-performance work environment (union / Labor Management Partnership experience preferred) Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, STEM, or related field AND 8+ years of optical lab or related manufacturing experience OR 11+ years of relevant experience 7+ years in a leadership role with direct reports 5+ years in optical manufacturing, CAM, eyewear fabrication, or related manufacturing field 1+ year managing operational or project budgets Preferred Qualifications American Board of Opticianry Certification Six Sigma Green Belt Supply Chain or advanced manufacturing experience Experience in union environments Would you like to know more about this opportunity?
