Salary : $16-$19per hour DOE

Monroe Residential Treatment Center for eating disorders

Position requires one year of food preparation experience in a Residential or Institution setting, preferable with eating disorders. SERVESAFE a plus, but is required with 90 days.

Schedule : Wednesday 12 : 30-6 : 30 PM, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 6 : 30AM to 6 : 30PM

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Monitor and record food temperatures to ensure food safety.
• Cook foodstuffs according to menus, special dietary or nutritional restrictions, or numbers of portions to be served as on prepared menus from Lead Dietitian.
• Rotate and store food supplies.
• Wash pots, pans, dishes, utensils, or other cooking equipment.
• Apportion and serve food to facility residents, families and employees as required by dietary menu
• Clean and inspect galley equipment, kitchen appliances, and work areas to ensure cleanliness and functional operation.
• Clean, cut, and cook meat, fish, poultry and vegetables.
• Bake breads, rolls, or other pastries.
• Compile and maintain records of food use and spoilage. Report information to Lead Dietitian.
• Maintain safety standards regarding all aspects of the kitchen.
• Ability to follow dietary guidelines and the exchange model (preferred)

Minimum Requirements

Position requires one year of experience in a Residential or Institution setting, preferable with eating disorders.
