About The Position

Rates :  Exclusive salary + Benefits

Shift Details :

  • Varied shifts (typically 12- or 24-hour)
  • Weekend and on-call rotations are required

Position Description

  • Seeking a Board-Certified / Board-Eligible Pediatric Cardiac Intensivist to join their nationally recognized team in Las Vegas, NV.
  • The hospital features Nevada’s only dedicated pediatric congenital heart surgery program, a state-of-the-art 14-bed CICU, and academic affiliations with UNLV School of Medicine.

    • Roles & Responsibilities :

  • Deliver specialized care in the 14-bed Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU)
  • Manage over 400 pediatric cardiac surgeries annually in Nevada’s only program
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including ECMO and cath lab services
  • Provide coverage in a 24-bed tertiary Pediatric ICU and 30-bed pediatric ED
  • Supervise and educate UNLV pediatric, EM, and FM residents rotating through ICU
  • Perform procedural sedation as part of comprehensive critical care services
  • Participate in rotational scheduling including weekends and on-call support

    Job Requirements

  • BC / BE in Pediatric Critical Care OR Pediatric Cardiology with CICU training – Required
  • Nevada Medical License or eligibility to obtain – Required
  • Clean malpractice and license history – Highly Preferred
  • Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Las Vegas area – Required
