We are seeking a seasoned Depository Relationship Manager to join our Bay Area Commercial Banking team . This role is responsible for originating and managing a portfolio of accounts while cultivating new client relationships and expanding existing ones. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Treasury and Depository Services and Commercial Banking strategies with a strong focus on business development and client retention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and pursue new Commercial Banking opportunities with a focus on expanding Treasury and Depository Service relationships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business clients COIs and industry professionals.
  • Promote and cross-sell Treasury Management Deposit products and other Commercial services.
  • Evaluate Financial and Account Analysis statements credit histories and other relevant client information.
  • Structure and negotiate pricing terms and covenants.
  • Prepare comprehensive approval request memos and present recommendations to appropriate approval committees.
  • Monitor customer performance and ensure compliance with covenants and regulatory guidelines.
  • Conduct regular reviews with clients to assess evolving financial needs.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks or early signs of deterioration.
  • Ensure all documentation meets internal and external regulatory standards.
  • Stay current with banking laws industry regulations and best practices.
  • Collaborate with PMs other RMs Business Partners Credit Analysts and compliance teams as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Business Administration or related field MBA preferred with a minimum 6 years of experience in commercial banking lending credit analysis and / or treasury services.
  • Proven track record in business development and client relationship expansion within treasury and depository services.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial products banking regulations risk and deposit associated financial strategy and customer development.
  • Strong customer service and problem solving skills and demonstrated ability to work with customers in a consultative manner.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Strong understanding of financial and account analysis statements implementation structuring and risk assessment.
  • Experience with treasury management systems and CRM platforms.
  • Familiarity with commercial lending equipment financing and lines of credit.
  • Experience in mentoring junior bankers or managing teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and various financial analysis tools.
