Revenue Operations Manager
CNN is seeking an exceptional and strategic Revenue Operations Manager to play a pivotal role in driving our digital revenue growth. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of CNN's monetization strategies, bringing operational excellence and data-driven rigor to our diverse digital products and services. You will be instrumental in fostering collaboration across the organization, working hand-in-hand with senior leaders in Growth, Product, Advertising, Finance, Data, and Business Development. Together, we will build a cohesive, insight-led revenue engine that not only supports but actively propels CNN's ambitious long-term growth strategy.
Your Role Accountabilities...
- Vendor Management : Source and manage critical partnerships with key vendors in areas such as display advertising, sponsored content, performance marketing, newsletters, and other revenue streams.
- Cross-Functional Partnership : Collaborate with CNN Product & Tech teams to integrate vendors, run revenue optimization tests, and represent revenue priorities in cross-functional initiatives
- Strategic Revenue Execution : Support the Revenue Operations team in developing and executing integrated revenue operations strategies across all on-platform monetization opportunities.
- Process Optimization & Standardization : Manage the continuous assessment, documentation, and optimization of end-to-end revenue processes across the customer lifecycle, identifying and eliminating bottlenecks to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Executive Business Insights : Support strategic planning processes by contributing to and delivering compelling presentations at monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews, in close collaboration with the Strategy, Finance, and Data Science, Analytics & Insights teams.
Qualifications & Experience...
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or related field.3+ years of experience in digital media, business operations, or related fields.Proven track record of partnering with product teams to translate business needs into product and technology solutions that drive successful revenue growth.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable plans.Experience in managing partnerships and vendor relationships in the digital media landscape.Strong communication and presentation abilities, with experience presenting to senior executives.Deep understanding of digital advertising, content monetization, and emerging revenue models in the media industry.Familiarity with data analytics tools and methodologies.Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and departments in a fast-paced environment.
