Shift Details : Shift Hours : Night Shift from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM Role : Inpatient Hospitalist Average Patients / Day : 15-20 (day), 2-8 (night) Average Admissions / Day : 6 Average Admissions / Night : 5-10 ICU Critical Care Duties : Engage in critical care responsibilities within the ICU setting. Midlevel Support : No midlevel support during the night, allowing you to take a lead role in patient care. Code Response : Be prepared to respond to Codes efficiently, contributing to a proactive healthcare environment. Backup in ER : Not expected to serve as backup in the ER, allowing you to focus on inpatient care. Certifications : Hold current BLS and ACLS certifications to ensure the highest standard of patient care. Procedures : Perform essential procedures for the night shift, including vent management, central lines, and intubations (preferred for day shifts). Requirements : Board Certification : Board-Certified in Internal Medicine to showcase expertise and commitment to quality care. North Carolina DEA : Possess a valid DEA license for the state of North Carolina.
