Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Principal Enterprise Application Lead to join our team. This role requires a strong background in consulting, analysis, and technology, along with excellent relationship and vendor management skills. As the Principal Enterprise Application Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing application configuration and implementation, ensuring alignment with business needs, and fostering strong partnerships with stakeholders and vendors to convert feature improvements into organizational value.

This is an onsite position in our Downtown Oakland Headquarters.

The salary range for the Lead Engineer-Infrastructure position at Center for Elders Independence is $142,944 - $179,006.  Annual salary is based on the market for the Lead Engineer - Finance / HR position, as well as experience, skills, abilities and work history.

Key Responsibilities :

• System Management : Lead the configuration strategy and optimization of the financial and human resource systems, ensuring their availability, functionality, and integration with other clinical and administrative systems.
• Upgrades & Enhancements : Ensure that all updates align with the organization’s operational goals and compliance requirements.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement : Work closely with financial, administrative, and IT teams to understand needs, gather feedback, and translate them into system enhancements. Collaborate with vendors and external stakeholders for system integrations and updates.
• Compliance & Security : Ensure that financial and human resource systems remain compliant with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, as well as relevant industry standards for data security, privacy, and interoperability.
• Innovation & Strategic Planning : Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to continually improve the financial and human resource systems. Provide strategic recommendations for leveraging systems to enhance workflows, data management, and patient care.
• Vendor Management : Oversee relationships with technology suppliers, ensuring service delivery aligns with contractual agreements. Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts to optimize value.

Qualifications :

5+ years of experience in managing, consulting, or a related role.

Strong understanding of financial and operational technologies, healthcare IT infrastructure, and industry standards (ITIL, HL7, FHIR, etc.).
