We are currently searching for an experienced Traffic / Transportation Engineer to support our East Gulf Region group located in Birmingham, Huntsville, and Tuscaloosa, AL.

To be considered for this position, applicants must have, at minimum, 5 years of traffic engineering and / or transportation planning experience.

What you’ll be doing :

• Perform routine aspects of assignments requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles
• Projects may include traffic operations analysis, traffic signal design, traffic signal timing development, corridor planning studies, transportation safety studies, roadway master planning, long range transportation planning, and transportation modeling (micro and macro)
• Assist the Project Manager in the development and design of projects
• Assist Service Line Manager in development of Engineering Interns
• Prepare engineering studies, documents, and reports
