As a Security Officer - Hospital Campus Patrol in Glendale, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for all visitors, staff, and patients. Your presence and excellent communication skills will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Pay Rate : $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Mon 01 : 00 PM - 09 : 30 PM

Tue 01 : 00 PM - 09 : 30 PM

Wed 01 : 00 PM - 09 : 30 PM

Thur 01 : 00 PM - 09 : 30 PM

Sun 01 : 00 PM - 09 : 30 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using de-escalation techniques when necessary.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor and report any unusual activity or potential hazards within the location to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control by verifying identification and / or credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.
  • Work closely with healthcare staff and visitors to provide information and assistance as needed.
  • Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
