Unit Operations Scheduling Support Specialist

The Mission Concepts and Capabilities Division (MCC) of Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) is seeking several full-time Unit Operations Scheduling Support Specialists to provide on-site support to the customer. The right candidates will build, publish, and maintain mission-critical schedules for pilots, aircrew, instructors, evaluators, and support personnel using government-mandated systems such as PEX or TACTICS. This role ensures compliance with squadron leadership priorities and operational requirements, resolves scheduling conflicts, and supports short-notice changes to maintain mission readiness. This position requires an active Secret clearance and experience in DoD flying operations scheduling. We are looking to add the following number of candidates to each of the following locations : (3) Shaw AFB (4) Langley AFB (3) Hill AFB (1) Eglin AFB. This position is contingent upon award of a contract expected in March 2026.

Essential Functions :

• The Unit Operations Scheduler will support CAF FS operations by developing and maintaining short- and long-range schedules for ground, academic, flying / terminal control, and simulator training events.
• Responsibilities include publishing schedules in PEX, TACTICS, or similar systems; developing long-range schedules to meet mission qualifications, upgrades, continuation training, exercises, and test requirements; resolving scheduling conflicts; integrating maintenance, airspace / range availability, and weather considerations into planning; tracking live, simulated, and academic training requirements; coordinating with OSS and external agencies for exercise and special event scheduling.

Compensation & Benefits : Pay Ranges : From $75,000 - $85,000 per year based on location, years of experience, degree and any special skills and knowledge that they may bring to the position.
