Registered Nurse - Pediatric Recovery Care Center

The Pediatric Recovery Care Center provides same day admissions for scheduled surgery or other invasive procedures for patients that require less than a 24 hour hospital stay. The Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for the planning, implementing and evaluation of care for a given patient population with the established standards and practices of Crouse Hospital. This process is enacted through direct clinical practice, management of patient care and general professional duties.

Pay Range : $39.00 - $50.00 / hour. Education / Experience Requirements

Required :

Graduate of an accredited nursing degree program

Must have a current Registered Nurse (RN) license

Minimum 2 years recent pediatric RN experience

Preferred :

Bachelor of Science in Nursing from accredited nursing program or higher degree

• For RNs licensed in or after 2017, completion of a Bachelor’s of Nursing Degree will be required within 8 years of the date the license was obtained.

Licensure / Certification Requirements

Required :

Current New York State licensure as a Registered Nurse

Basic Life Support (BLS)

PALS certified at time of hire, or obtained within six months of hire
