Job Description

Looking for an opportunity to advance your CNC machining and leadership skills? This Machine Shop Supervisor role is perfect for candidates with at least 5 years of machining experience, experience programming with MasterCAM, and 2 years of supervisory experience.

This company is a customized metal sign and fabrication shop that creates unique metal projects for a variety of clients. You won’t be working on the same products every day. This is a hands-on role where you can directly impact safety, efficiency, and production in a small, collaborative shop environment.

In this direct hire role, you’ll program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes, mentor machinists, support safe and efficient production, and collaborate with sales and customers. Machine Shop Supervisor  Duties :

Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes, including developing and modifying NC programs with MasterCAM

Prepare setup sheets, tool lists, and documentation

Estimate job costs and machining times for customers

Mentor and support machinists while ensuring compliance

Design custom tools and fixtures, drive process improvements, and maintain configuration control of files and records

Schedule : Day Shift

Monday to Friday, 6 : 00 a.m. to 2 : 30 p.m. or 7 : 00 a.m. to 3 : 30 p.m.

Pay :   $45 - $50 per hour

Machine Shop Supervisor Requirements :

At least 5 years of machining experience

2-3 years of supervisory experience

Experience programming with MasterCAM

Experience with quoting jobs and purchasing materials
