[job_card.job_description]Status : Part-time Schedule : Flexible and based on tutor availability Pay Rate : $22.00-$24.00 per hour base on experience Subjects : Immediate needs working with 6th grade student in Math and ELA Flexible part-time hours to fit around your schedule Competitive pay and opportunities for growth The satisfaction of helping students in San Mateo / San Francisco County areas achieve academic success Join a dedicated team of tutors who are passionate about making a difference Minimum of 60 college credits and at least one year of tutoring experience (experience in Math and ELA is preferred) Proven proficiency in subject matter Detail-oriented, dependable, and eager to help students succeed Strong communication skills to connect effectively with students Motivation and passion to tutor and inspire academic excellence Reliable transportation for in-person sessions in Menlo Park, CA (Proof of insurance required if driving) Must pass reference and FBI / DOJ background checks Must provide a negative tuberculosis test (valid within the last two years) Please submit any relevant certifications (Teacher’s Credential, Tutor Certification, etc.) Opportunity to earn a National Tutoring Association certification through StudentNest
