Responsibilities
Administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor and assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
Educate patients and families on respiratory health and treatment options.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on respiratory therapy advancements.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care and outcomes.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments and progress.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in respiratory care.
Utilize performance metrics to evaluate and improve personal effectiveness.
Provide support in achieving departmental and organizational targets.
Assist in the development of treatment protocols and best practices.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment among team members.
Experience / Qualifications
Valid state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in Ohio.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
Proven experience in administering respiratory therapy treatments.
Ability to educate patients and families on respiratory health.
Strong understanding of patient assessment and treatment plan adjustments.
Experience collaborating with healthcare teams for optimal patient care.
Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards in respiratory care.
Strong documentation skills to maintain accurate patient records.
Ability to utilize performance metrics for self-evaluation.
