4th Grade English Language Arts Teacher

Position Overview:

• Deliver engaging, standards-based English Language Arts (ELA) lessons to 4th-grade students, focusing on reading comprehension, writing proficiency, and foundational literacy skills.
• Manage daily classroom operations and monitor student progress through regular assessments to differentiate instruction for diverse learning needs.
• Lead reading interventions and small-group rotations to address specific literacy gaps and challenge advanced readers.
• Work alongside instructional coaches and grade-level peers to analyze student work and refine lesson plans based on real-time data.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Valid Tennessee Teaching Credential (Multiple Subject or Single Subject) ORValid Teaching License and Endorsement from a state that offers reciprocity with Tennessee
• Prior experience delivering elementary ELA curriculum and a deep understanding of upper-elementary literacy development
