FullTime Trademark Paralegal

We are in search of a California-based full-time trademark paralegal. This position can be fully remote, fully in-person in our Santa Monica office, or a hybrid of the two. However, the candidate must be based in California. We are only considering candidates with at least 5 years of experience managing global trademark portfolios, either at a law firm or in-house legal department. Minx Law, PC is a Santa Monica-based intellectual property law firm. We are in search of an exceptional, highly experienced Trademark Paralegal to work in close collaboration with our team. The ideal candidate will have expert-level knowledge of US and foreign trademark prosecution, and will be very comfortable communicating with foreign counsel. There is an annual billable requirement of 1,440 hours. Responsibilities: • Ownership of a busy trademark docket (50% US; 50% foreign) • Prepare and submit trademark and copyright filings in the US and overseas • Conduct preliminary USPTO and Internet searches • Communicate with clients and foreign trademark counsel • Draft letters and pleadings • Prepare and submit filings with the USPTO, WIPO, and US Copyright Office • Manage and instruct foreign trademark counsel • Review and analyze watch notices • Prepare takedown notices Qualifications: ● Minimum of 5 years of experience managing global trademark portfolios● Expert level knowledge of USPTO filings ● Expert level knowledge of trademark docketing (experience with AltLegal is a plus)● Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Office● Must be extremely organized and detail-oriented● Excellent verbal and written communication skills Compensation: $85,000 - $95,000 yearly

Compensation:
$85,000-$95,000 per year
