Top Things :
1) The must have advanced Excel formula knowledge that allows them to validate calculations. This includes tracing input over multiple tabs and ensuring accuracy.
2) We are looking for a person with strong organization skills that can help track deliverables, create meeting invites and minutes, and is comfortable with following up with people in person for responses.
3) The successful candidate must be able to edit documents in MS Word, validate statements with evidence or be able to notice the absence of evidence.
Job Responsibilites :
Supports project lead with administrative project work as needed including scheduling meetings in Outlook, creating agendas and meeting minutes with Copilot or manually, keeping track of outstanding deliverables and assisting with project team correspondence
Performs analysis on moderately complex subject matter including evaluating whether evidence is sufficient to support statements in reports and is responsive to the regulatory obligation documents (CPUC general orders)
Determines data needs, collects data, selects from different analytical techniques to achieve desired data outcomes.
Validates quantitative data including vetting Excel formulas, reviews for completeness and reasonableness
Understands business needs, assists with report development, and performs custom / ad-hoc reporting working independently. Presents findings to various audiences.
Performs basic research internally and externally.
Communicates with peers inside and outside the department exchanging ideas or gathering information. Participates on project teams.
Education Minimum
Bachelor of Science in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience required.
Experience Minimum :
2 years of related work experience Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Full understanding of fundamental analysis and what-if modeling and how different factors affect business outcomes
