Commercial Underwriter Associate

A company is looking for a Commercial Underwriting Associate to serve as the primary point of contact for insureds and lienholders for policy-related inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

Handle all incoming and follow-up calls, providing superior customer service

Research policy information and exercise underwriting authority while processing policy change requests

Escalate risks beyond designated authority to appropriate underwriters or management

Required Qualifications

One (1) year or more of related Property & Casualty experience

High School diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred

Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment

Strong computer skills, including proficiency in typing, spreadsheets, and CRM applications

Dependable and reliable with a flexible work schedule based on business needs
