What You'll Do: As an Artisan Assistant Bread Baker, you will be the backbone of our bakery, ensuring every loaf is crafted to perfection. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Mixing, shaping, and baking a diverse range of artisan breads.
• Following recipes meticulously while also bringing your own creative flair to the table.
• Managing inventory and supplies, lifting items that may weigh 50 lbs. or more.
• Adapting to various baking schedules, including mid-afternoon to night shifts, and being flexible during holiday seasons for potential overnight shifts.

Who You Are: The ideal candidate for the Artisan Assistant Bread Baker role should exhibit:

• A proven track record in the kitchen, showcasing your ability to follow complex recipes and pay attention to the fine details that make our breads exceptional.
• The strength and stamina to handle the physical aspects of the job, including standing for long periods and managing heavy lifting.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work through changes and maintain high-quality standards under pressure.
• At least 1+ years of large-scale baking or pastry experience (preferred, not required).
• A keen understanding of food handler and sanitation regulations at the local, state, and federal levels.
• A formal baking or pastry education is a plus, but not a requirement.
• You must be at least 18 years of age to qualify for this position.
