Production Operator

Objective

A Production Operator position would include prep-work, masking, grit blasting, finishing, passivation, cleaning and perform duties assigned by the Production Manager.

Essential Functions

1. Prep-work of parts
2. Masking parts
3. Grit blasting of parts
4. Finishing of parts
5. Cleaning of parts
6. Passivation of parts
7. Continuously monitor process, keeping the production output within the required tolerances
8. Keep the tooling clean and ready to operate
9. Assist and perform duties as assigned by Production Manager
10. Use calibrated instruments to perform critical measurements
11. Working in the Company's Quality and Safety System context, in accordance with its procedures and requirements

Work Environment

This job operates in a manufacturing environment. The individual will be required to adhere to safety policies and procedures on the manufacturing floor.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, at least 8 hours of work per day Monday thru Friday, some overtime as business needs change. Willing to work flexible shifts, overtime, and weekends, if necessary.

Required Education and Experience

1. High School Diploma
2. Able to work in a fast paced environment.
3. Detail oriented
4. Must be able to plan, prioritize, and perform work in an efficient manner to meet schedules
5. Willing to work flexible shifts, overtime, and weekends if necessary
6. Able to lift at least 50lbs
