    Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center is the largest hospital in Wisconsin, renowned for its comprehensive healthcare services and 24 / 7 on-site heart-care team. We are seeking dedicated Surgical Technologists who are eager to make a real difference in patients' lives. You will utilize your meticulous skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments in our Operating Room.

    In This Role, You Will :

  • Create and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient environment for patient care.
  • Use aseptic techniques to prepare surgical materials and assist during procedures.
  • Set up and optimize the operating room for surgeries.
  • Act as a Second Assistant when needed.
  • Manage equipment and supplies with great attention to detail.
  • Support patient positioning and transport while ensuring safety standards are met.

    • Requirements :

  • Licensure / Certification : BLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
  • Education : Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • Experience : No prior experience is necessary.

    • Key Skills :

  • Understanding of aseptic techniques and surgical equipment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency.

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs and performing various physical activities regularly.
  • Commitment to using personal protective equipment as required.
