Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity seeks experienced special education teachers specializing in autism to support three classrooms within a K-8 public school located in the Denver area. The role involves working directly with students from elementary through middle school, providing tailored instruction and classroom management to meet diverse learning needs.

Qualifications and Experience :

• Active Colorado Teaching License with a Special Education Generalist Endorsement
• Proven experience managing classrooms and supervising paraprofessionals
• Knowledge and skills specific to autism support within special education settings
• Ability to work on-site full-time; virtual or hybrid arrangements are not available

Key Responsibilities :

This contract role is strictly on-site within the Aurora Public School district and requires strong hands-on experience with classroom instruction and personnel management in special education.
