About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Peds - Critical Care MD in New York!

We are seeking a Pediatric Critical Care Medicine physician for a 30-day locum tenens assignment in New York, starting Jan 1, 2026. This opportunity involves day and night shifts in a pediatric cardiac ICU within a trauma setting, with the greatest need for night coverage.

  • Schedule : Day and night shifts; night shifts are the primary need. Day shift availability will depend on the selected candidate.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients in a cardiac intensive care unit
  • Manage critically ill patients in an ICU within a trauma environment
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
  • Perform and oversee critical procedures as required for pediatric cardiac patients
  • Participate in shift-based care, with emphasis on night shift coverage
