Job Summary
This position is responsible for assisting Concurrent Enrollment adjunct instructors, assisting content liaisons, maintaining instructor records, and providing back-up for student/parent phone calls and walk-ins. This position primarily works with high school instructors and SLCC staff to help answer questions and concerns regarding applying to teach college courses at the high school and instructor responsibilities. Will have some contact with students, parents, and high school staff and assist them with questions and concerns regarding admission, registration, tuition payments, grades, and appeals. Essential Responsibilities and Duties
- Phone, e-mail, and walk-in support for Concurrent Enrollment adjunct instructors and liaisons
- Track and move instructor applications through application process
- E-mail approval letters to instructors and liaisons
- Setup new instructors in Banner
- Update instructor information in MyCE
- Provide assistance for other CE office staff with student, parent, and high school staff calls during busy times.
- Use Excel to update instructor training, liaison visits, and annual agreement data on data dashboard
- Use Outlook to send e-mail reminders to instructors regarding entering grades, deadlines, and training
- Assist with planning, setup, and check-in of annual teacher event
- Track and update liaison and associate dean records in MyCE
- Check for and report instructor and liaison webpage discrepancies.
- Other duties as assigned
Essential Responsibilities and Duties Continued Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year of work experience

- Experience working in customer service

- Experience in higher education, either as a student or as an employee
