POSITION SUMMARY

Servtech, a Roeslein Company, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer I to join our team in the energy, mining, industrial power markets, and Integrated bio-energy solutions. This individual must desire to perform quality work safely, be detail-oriented, and have superior customer focus. This individual must be able to work independently and in a team environment. Mechanical Engineer I assists in the design and development of mechanical and structural systems and components. They perform basic engineering calculations, create 3D models, and troubleshoot issues. These tasks will help the Mechanical Engineer I to gain practical experience in project management under the guidance of the Engineering Manager and Project Managers.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is performed in an office and an uncontrolled atmosphere. Exposure to harsh conditions—such as : dust, fumes, chemicals, hazardous materials, noise, and varying weather and temperatures—for short periods of time is possible. Must be able to travel to jobsites both domestically and internationally; living accommodations in some foreign assignments may not meet expected U.S. standards. All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this position, the employee will, regularly, be required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk and hear; and work in a consistent state of alertness and in a safe manner. The ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly is required.
