Attorney

Eastern Staffing & Recruiting is currently recruiting an Attorney for our client in the Charleston, SC area. The Attorney will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with legal work, such as legal research, drafting legal documents, representing clients in trials and mediations, and negotiating settlements. • Interfacing with current clients, providing frequent case status updates
• Managing a high-volume docket of cases
• Managing assigned case manager and medical clerk
• Filing and responding to motions
• Taking and defending depositions
• Drafting demands
• Attending mediations and hearings
• Federal and State petition drafting
• Responding to and requesting federal and state discovery
• Reviewing medical records
• Conducting legal research
• Evaluating exhibitions
• Team player willing to assist where necessary

Requirements

• SC Bar licensure in good standing.
• Juris Doctor Degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Experience in personal injury law preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Judgment and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent and prompt verbal/written communication skills and ability to work well with others.
• Strong work ethic demonstrated in academics and work history.
• Experience managing a support staff.

The estimated hourly salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000, though a candidate's salary will be determined on a range of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications and experience.Qualified candidates, please apply.
