About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Hospitalist MD in North Carolina!

We are seeking a Board Certified Pediatric Hospitalist for a locum tenens assignment in North Carolina. This 90-day opportunity begins Dec 8, 2025, and involves 14 shifts per month with 12-hour day or night shifts. The role focuses on pediatric and newborn hospitalist care, utilizing Cerner EMR.

  • Schedule : 14 shifts per month; 12-hour day shifts or 12-hour night shifts

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide hospitalist care for pediatric and newborn patients
  • Manage admissions, rounds, and discharges for pediatric and newborn cases
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Document patient information and care activities using Cerner EMR
  • Respond to emergencies and provide advanced life support as needed

    • Additional Information

  • Must be Board Certified in Pediatrics
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required
  • Active North Carolina medical license required
  • Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
