Focus Family Care are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping individuals with disabilities and medical conditions improve their quality of life through therapy and rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

  • Basic self-care activities like dressing and bathing (called activities of daily living)
  • Provide occupational therapy interventions to clients based on evaluation and goals
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
  • Educate clients and their families on therapeutic techniques and exercises
  • Monitor and document client progress accurately
  • Participate in discharge planning and recommend adaptive equipment as needed

  • Effective verbal and written communication.
  • Communicating and working with healthcare providers
  • Social and emotional well-being-Engaging in physical activity
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in diverse settings including skilled nursing facilities and home health environments
